Joseph (Joe) A. Menninger, Jr., a 40-year veteran of the credit union movement, recently announced his retirement as the president/CEO of Your Best Credit Union, formerly Willis Credit Union, in Nashville, Tenn. Joe began as the executive vice president (EVP) of Willis Credit Union in 2013 and was promoted to president/CEO in 2014. His retirement will be effective April 30.
Throughout his career, Joe has held several board and leadership roles within his community. Joe is currently involved with the Marine Corps League Albert E Schwab Detachment 857. Former affiliations include the Hendersonville, Tenn., Chamber of Commerce Government Relations Committee (chairman), CUES Greater Southern Council (chairman), Middle Tennessee Chapter of Credit Unions (president), Literacy Council of Sumner County (board member) and Leadership Sumner (member). Joe is a life member of the following organizations, Marine Corps League, Disabled American Veterans and American Legion.
In retirement, Joe plans to spend time with his wife, traveling and volunteering to help veterans.

The board of directors promoted Mr. Adrian Muniz III as Your Best Credit’s new president/CEO on January 1, 2024. Mr. Muniz III was previously the vice president, bringing over 16 years of financial experience to Your Best Credit Union. We are excited by the growth opportunities and look forward to working with Mr. Muniz III.”
Muniz currently resides on the board of directors for Wilson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), Mt. Juliet Parks and Recreation Board (vice chairman) and Mt. Juliet Alcohol Beverage Board (member). Muniz previously served on the board of directors for the Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce and received recognition as the city’s Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year.
