We are pleased to announce the promotions of four employees.
Amber Price has been promoted to Director of Marketing. Price has been with Y-12 Federal Credit Union for 23 years and started her career as a teller. She worked several years in the Marketing Department and transitioned to Branch Operations where she managed the Clinton Branch and opened the Farragut Branch. Price most recently served as Regional Branch Manager for the last eight years. She is a Carson-Newman graduate with a degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Rusty Curtis was promoted to Regional Branch Manager after serving as the Branch Manager for the Sevier County Branch. Curtis started working for Y-12 Federal Credit Union 11 years ago. He initially worked as an Assistant Manager and was quickly promoted to Branch Manager. Curtis has been in the banking industry for 23 years. In his new role he will oversee branches in Sevierville, Roane County and Clinton.
Jennifer Shepherd was promoted to Regional Branch Manager after serving as Branch Manager for the Eagleton Branch for the last two years. Shepherd began her career with Y-12 Federal Credit Union 22 years ago as a teller at the Maryville branch. She previously managed the West Knoxville branch and opened the Cedar Bluff branch where she managed it for several years. As Regional Manager she will oversee the Eagleton and Alcoa branches in Blount County and the two branches located in Campbell County.
Melanie Smith was promoted to Branch Manager for the Oak Ridge Branch. Smith started her career as a teller 17 years ago. Her past experience includes working in the call center, card services and as a Member Service Consultant at the Farragut branch. Smith has been serving as the Assistant Manager in Oak Ridge for the last three years.
We are excited about these well-earned promotions and are confident these changes will positively impact our members.
