Y-12 Federal Credit Union is proud to announce Valerie Walls as the VP HR & Training and Development. Walls role is to create an organization that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
Walls will be responsible for delivering the People Strategy for the business focusing on best in class engagement, development, succession, and the leadership capabilities for the business. As a member of the Executive Team, Walls will partner with the team to ensure the credit union is organized effectively for future growth and to deploy services and activities designed to enhance the employee experience.
Prior to joining the credit union, Walls worked in the manufacturing and media industry. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Lehigh University, has a Master’s in Public Administration/Human Resource Management from West Chester University, and also has a Certificate of Professional Human Resource Management from Villanova University.
Outside of work, Valerie enjoys spending time with her husband (Andrew) and their son (Jackson). She is new to East Tennessee and loves exploring her new home.
