TVFCU’s Jessica Parrish Named Chattanooga Mortgage Banker of the Year for The Second Consecutive Year

The Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA), at their Annual Awards Banquet on March 2, named TVFCU mortgage originator Jessica Parrish as Chattanooga Mortgage Banker of the Year for 2023. Parrish has received this prestigious award for the second year running. The award is based on a popular vote as a CMBA Circle of Excellence member. Parrish was honored for her achievements in loan production, support of the local and Tennessee State Mortgage Bankers Association and for her community involvement.

“The CMBA exists to promote professionalism, integrity and efficiency among mortgage bankers, brokers, title companies, attorneys, appraisers and others in our industry,” said Holly Walsh, 2023 CMBA president. “Jessica made a remarkable impact in 2023, achieving Diamond Award status with over $25 million in production, and working continuously with TVFCU to support individuals and communities in the Chattanooga area.”

Holly Walsh, the 2023 president of the CMBA, emphasized, “I would like to emphasize the association’s commitment to fostering professionalism, integrity, and efficiency within the mortgage industry. Jessica stood out once again for her outstanding achievements in 2023, attaining Diamond Award status by surpassing $25 million in production. Jessica also
demonstrated unwavering dedication to contributing to the well-being of individuals and communities in the Chattanooga area.”

Parrish began her career with TVFCU in May of 2015, working tirelessly to help members achieve their home-ownership goals. Parrish originated 183 mortgages in 2023 alone, empowering Chattanoogans to purchase homes and bolstering the local economy.

“TVFCU is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, meaning that we exist to reinvest profits into the communities we serve through better loan rates for our members, high dividends on investments and community support through sponsorships with nonprofits and other impactful methods,” said Parrish.“I perceive this award as a confirmation and acknowledgment of the outstanding work we consistently carry out at TVFCU on a daily basis.”

Through the efforts of Parrish and many others in TVFCU’s real estate department, the credit union has been Chattanooga’s top mortgage lender since 2022 by both number of loans and dollar amount.
