Chapter meetings serve as a vital platform for credit union staff across Tennessee to gather, learn, and network. The chapter system is designed with the following goals:
- To disseminate information from the Tennessee Credit Union League and its affiliates to credit unions statewide.
- To provide grassroots feedback from credit unions to the Tennessee Credit Union League and its affiliates.
- To support the Tennessee Credit Union League and its affiliates in promoting the growth and development of Tennessee credit unions.
- To facilitate the exchange of ideas and information on topics of mutual interest to credit unions.
Tennessee consists of the following chapters: Northeast Chapter of Credit Unions, Knoxville Area Chapter of Credit Unions, Hiwassee Chapter of Credit Unions, Chattanooga Chapter of Credit Unions, Middle TN Chapter of Credit Unions, and the Memphis Chapter of Credit Unions.
Chapter meetings are also an opportunity for leadership development for credit union staff. Serving in a leadership position on the chapter board of directors provides key management experience.
