Tennessee Members 1st Federal Credit Union Hosts Second Annual Community Day

TN Members 1st Federal Credit Union welcomed nine community partners to their branches in early November during their annual Community Days event. The community was invited to stop by to sign up for door prizes, grab giveaways and learn more about how to become involved with organizations throughout the credit union’s service area. Community Day is an annual event, open to the public with no purchase or membership required to participate in event activities.

“We love being able to welcome our Community Partners into our branches for a fun afternoon sharing about the important work they do throughout the communities we serve,” said Richelle Ballenger, AVP of Marketing at TN Members 1st. “Our hope is that Community Day will become a reoccurring celebration that not only highlights the work of these vital organizations but provides the community an opportunity to learn and get involved.”

2023 Community Day participants included Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties (ADFAC), Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee, CASA of TN Heartland, East Tennessee Foundation, The Free Medical Clinic, Remote Area Medical, Roane State Foundation, Tennessee Outreach Center for Homeless (TORCH) and United Way of Anderson County (UWAC).
