This past February, Tennessee Members 1st Federal Credit Union (TN Members 1st ) was excited to once again partner with the Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge, Kiwanis Club of Oak Ridge, and Tennessee Out-Reach Center for Homeless (TORCH) for the 7th Annual Diaper Drive!
Donation stations were set up at both credit union branches and over 1,000 diapers of varying sizes and nearly 2,000 wipes were collected to be distributed to Anderson County agencies that serve low-income families.
“We love being able to be part of such an important initiative and seeing the donation stations overflowing by the end of the month, thanks to generous donations from our members and the greater community, is truly something special,” says Richelle Ballenger, AVP of marketing at TN Members 1st .
The Annual Diaper Drive is just one of the ways TN Members 1st works through their Commitment to Community Initiative to support the communities within the credit union’s service area.
