Tennessee union leaders gathered in Gatlinburg for the Tennessee Credit Union League’s 91st Annual Convention and Expo.
On Tuesday evening, we started the event with the Annual Business Meeting, which was followed by a derby-themed welcome party in the exhibit hall. Attendees wore their favorite derby-inspired attire and placed bets with play money.
Wednesday opened with attendees hearing from Coach Donnie Campbell who inspired the TV character Ted Lasso. Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed attending an array of professional development sessions and networking with credit union services vendors in the exhibit hall.
Thursday morning kicked off with a special session by VISA and young professionals sharing insights about what emerging professionals want from their credit union. The closing keynote was TeamAgar, a dad and son working together as a team. Johnny, despite being diagnosed with cerebral palsy, has willed himself to become the athlete he has always dreamed of being. And his dad has been the arms, legs and power to help Johnny fulfill that dream.
We had a great conference! Thank you to everyone who attended.
