Purity Dairies Employees Federal Credit Union has merged with Outreach Federal Credit Union.
Purity Dairies employees and members are now Outreach Federal Credit Union employees and members. Following federal regulatory approval and Purity Dairies Employees Federal Credit Union members’ vote of approval, the merger was effective November 1, 2024.
Purity Dairies Employees Federal Credit Union began serving employees in 1960.
“We’ve always worked to take great care of our employees who work so hard for our customers and choosing Outreach Federal Credit Union as a merger partner is a wonderful continuation of that commitment,” said Tom Brissette, chair of the Purity Dairies Employees Federal Credit Union. “Outreach has been caring for Nashville area members for over seventy years and can offer our families expanded products and services like low-rate credit cards and multiple options for savings and lending needs. Our whole team is excited.”
Outreach Federal Credit Union began as the credit union serving Wilson Trucking Company, later known as Yellow Freight. Outreach opened membership for all of Davidson County, Tenn., in 2012 and welcomed United States Tobacco Company employees in 2018.

Purity Dairies employees will benefit from expanded services like online banking, mobile apps and other technological advancements that make managing their finances easier and more convenient. They will also now have access to expanded account and loan offerings, debit and low-rate credit cards, IRAs and more.
