NCUA Board Member Rodney Hood recently joined Tennessee credit unions in Nashville for a roundtable discussion. Thirteen credit unions were represented with more than 30 attendees.
Credit unions discussed the current state of overdraft protection, fintech, crypto and digital currency, board modernization, and the CFPB. Board Member Hood focused on financial inclusion as the civil rights issue of our generation, so we discussed the underserved bill. The group really enjoyed hearing him speak and had a great time asking questions and conversing with him.
He said he can’t wait to come back to Tennessee!
