The Tennessee Credit Union League recently hosted the inaugural Leadership Connect, a FinTech-focused event that brought credit union leaders across the state to Franklin, Tennessee. This one-and-a-half-day conference offered attendees invaluable insights and concise presentations from industry experts and thought leaders.
The event began with sessions on lessons learned within the FinTech sector, featuring speakers who delivered informative talks and quick pitches on their respective topics and products. The conference concluded with a keynote address by Jay Land, a retired Army Bomb Technician, who inspired the audience with his talk on leadership, challenging taboos, and pursuing one’s bucket list.
At the close of the event, attendees voted for the best FinTech solution presented, awarding ScreenSteps the top honor. Tricia Cunningham of Tennessee Employees Credit Union commented, “Leadership Connect provided our management team an excellent opportunity to explore new technologies available to credit unions. The event’s intimate size was ideal for fostering meaningful connections between decision-makers and a carefully curated group of vendors. I highly recommend this event to credit unions of all sizes.”
