We are pleased to announce the addition of Jessica McCosh as a communications specialist at the Tennessee Credit Union League (TCUL). Jessica joins TCUL after working in the Marketing Department at Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union for nearly nine years.
Jessica most recently served as the media and communications coordinator at TVFCU. In her role, she oversaw TVFCU’s media relations and member communications. She was also the marketing liaison for TVFCU’s Business & Commercial Services Group and coordinated event planning for TVFCU’s Idea Leap Grant Initiative since the small business grant’s inception in 2018. The Idea Leap Grant Initiative received a statewide CUNA Award in 2021 for the credit union’s response to helping small businesses during the pandemic.
She was invited to serve on the League’s inaugural Young Professional Group’s Steering Committee in 2015. She also helped coordinate a gas mob and grocery giveaway in collaboration with credit unions in Southeast Tennessee. She was twice selected from young professionals nationwide to crash conferences through Filene Research Institute.
Prior to working at TVFCU, Jessica worked as an account executive at a full-service PR agency. She has also served as an internal corporate communicator at a large food manufacturer and as a PR representative at a nonprofit community blood bank.
“We are incredibly fortunate to add someone of Jessica’s caliber to our team,” said Fred Robinson, TCUL president and CEO. “It isn’t often that you can get a person at the absolute top of their industry to be part of your company, and we were able to do that with Jessica. I have watched and admired Jessica’s work at Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union but never dreamed we would have the opportunity to bring her on board with the League. Jessica will help transform communications with our members.”
She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Chattanooga. Jessica lives in Ooltewah, Tenn., with her husband, Dustin, and their 5-year-old daughter and 14-year-old chocolate Labrador. She enjoys spending time outdoors and crafting with her daughter.
