Enrichment Federal Credit Union Celebrates Grand Reopening of Northshore Branch and Donates $25,000 to East Tennessee Charities

Enrichment Federal Credit Union presented a $25,000 donation to East Tennessee Charities on Friday, May 3, during the EFCU Northshore Branch Grand Reopening Celebration. The donation is part of EFCU’s Community Enrichment Program, which donated more than $195k to local nonprofit organizations in 2023.

The donation, which is given quarterly, is presented to nonprofits voted on by the credit union’s members.

“The Community Enrichment Program is just one more way that Enrichment Federal Credit Union honors its mission of ‘People Helping People,'” said said Allison Hedrick, Enrichment Federal Credit Union marketing manager. “This donation is representative of the voice of our members. These organizations are working every day to make our communities a better place to live. We’re proud to be a part of that effort.”

Enrichment Federal Credit Union’s Northshore Branch Grand Reopening was held May 1 – 3 and included a variety of vendors, special guests, giveaways and more. EFCU not only welcomed members back into the renovated branch lobby, which had been closed since the start of Covid, they also unveiled EFCU’s new Interactive Teller Machines (ITM). The Interactive Teller Machines provide access to new banking technology with in-person staff available to assist with any member questions.

“Members who have come in to try our new Interactive Teller Machines during our Grand Reopening have been very complimentary,” said Hedrick. “They’re excited about the ITM’s wider range of options for completing transactions than an ATM without taking away services provided by in-person tellers who are also available in the branch to assist. We’ve elevated our technology and kept the personalized touch that our members expect.

Enrichment Federal Credit Union’s Northshore Branch is located at 9419 S. Northshore Drive, Knoxville. The lobby is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The drive-up hours are Monday through Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours on Thursday and Friday until 5:30 p.m.
