Eastman Credit Union announced Matt Smith was promoted as the organization’s Chief Marketing and Analytics Officer, effective July 31.
Smith formerly served as ECU’s Director of Project Management and Data Analytics and has nearly 20 years of ECU experience. Smith began his ECU career as a seasonal teller while attending college and has successfully held leadership positions in information technology, data analytics and project management.
Smith holds a bachelor’s degree from ETSU in Computer and Information Science and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP). He will be responsible for aligning the Marketing and Data Analytics functions to leverage data insights to improve member engagement and personalization. Also, Smith will continue to lead the Enterprise Project Management Office to help facilitate execution of ECU’s strategic initiatives.
