The Governmental Affairs Conference, March 2-6 in D.C., is quickly approaching. Among the attendees will be Tennessee GAC crasher, Madison Wright, marketing representative/member experience specialist at Copper Basin Federal Credit Union in Copperhill.
Wright is one of 55 credit union professionals selected by Filene to Crash the GAC.
Young professionals have been Crashing the GAC since 2009. The program allows young professionals to experience the credit union movement first-hand. The event will run concurrently to GAC with many crashers participating in their state’s Hike the Hill sessions.
“I’m excited for the networking opportunity and learning more about the credit union movement as a whole,” said Wright. “I have a lot of thanks in my heart that I get to represent Tennessee and our credit unions, and I’m proud to see a small credit union like our own have a voice. It’s impactful.”
Wright has worked at Copper Basin Federal Credit Union since June 2023.
“I hope to make a positive influence moving forward with the credit union difference,” said Wright.
