Clinchfield Federal Credit Union in Erwin, Tenn., participated in an array of holiday events.
“We love the Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade,” said April Simmons, operations supervisor at Clinchfield Federal Credit Union. “It’s one of the biggest in our area. It was a beautiful, yet frigid, sunshiny day! Our staff rides the float with their children or grandchildren.”
The credit union also participated in the tree lighting ceremony.
“The tree lighting event was record low temperatures as well,” said April. “We made ornaments with the kids and offered a Christmas Train background photo booth. Noah Spencer from NBC’s ‘The Voice’ was there providing a live concert.”
The credit union also served as a collection location for Coats for Appalachia.
“We were happy to be a drop-off location for Coats for Appalachia this year,” said April. “We filled the box twice!”
“Clinchfield FCU truly cares about our community and we are involved with almost everything going on if we are able,” said April. “We love this time of year and seeing our members when we are out and being a help to those in Unicoi County.”
