Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union Promotes Hutchins and Taylor

Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union (ACFCU) recently promoted Hannah Hutchins to marketing manager and Savanah Taylor to branch manager.

Hutchins joined ACFCU in July 2021 as a member service representative. She was promoted to marketing specialist in November 2022, where she was responsible for the design and development of marketing materials, promotions and the credit union’s social media presence. In her new role, she will continue to oversee all marketing functions as well as lead community involvement efforts.

“Hannah brings a fresh perspective and a wealth of creativity to our marketing and social media initiatives,” said Miranda Cooper, ACFCU chief experience officer. “She has a bright future at ACFCU, and we are fortunate to have her on our team.”

The Kingsport native holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in general management from East Tennessee State University (ETSU), where she was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. She currently resides in Kingsport with her husband, Andrew.

Taylor joined the Appy Team in 2023 and has nine years of experience in the financial services industry. She is a past recipient of two President Club awards for her outstanding service and has an extensive background in mortgage and home equity lending.

In her role as branch manager, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations and business development efforts of the New Street branch office in downtown Kingsport.

“Savanah embodies the credit union motto of ‘people helping people’ and is a true servant leader,” said Cooper. “She is dedicated to serving our members, her fellow employees and our community.”

A native of Fulton, Miss., she currently resides in Kingsport with her husband, Greg, and their three dogs, Lily, Mr. Watson, and Henry.
