Urgent!

Important changes to Tennessee’s UCC statutes take effect July 1.  On that date, the Secretary of State’s office will activate its new UCC filing system.  These changes will require the use of new procedures and forms. The changes will also provide new online options such as UCC filings and searches.

UCC filers should be aware that as of July 1, they can file UCC forms in Tennessee only by using the new forms, or by using the online filing services available on July 1.

The UCC Services Online web page (http://tnbear.tn.gov/UCC) will include links to those new forms and services as soon as they become effective.

For now, online training videos can be found here: https://tnbear.tn.gov/UCC/Common/links.aspx
